This weekend has been an exciting whirlwind of too much goodness! ^_^ Thursday evening, Shelton's parents arrived from Vegas. We picked them up, dined at Boston Cafe, and dropped them off at my parent's to stay the weekend. We returned Friday night for some hanging out and dinner-ing with them and my Auntie Rosa and Uncle Simon. =)
On Saturday, we went to Connie and Perry's Wedding! ^_^ It was lovely! And fun to see and hang out with bridesmaids Melody, Mindy, Jolene, and non-bridesmaids and friends like Neil, Benny, Mike and Jean (with Joshua and Micah in tow!). I even met Connie's aunt - the one who helped Shelton get my engagement ring, hee hee. =) We stayed till it was about all done, after the ceremony, after the 10-course dinner, after the dancing and chatting and picture taking, hee hee...see pictures below! ^_^

Mothers were showered with flowers on Sunday, at church and at dinner in the evening, which also included Simon, Hai-Lian, Sharon, and June! =) We ate probably a 20-course meal (okay, it just felt like it because things kept coming and we kept running out of space on the lazy susan!). Hee hee...after, we went back to Corona to hang out a bit more before saying goodbye to Lai-Lai and Ah-Ba. They're back safe in Vegas now. =)
And of course, Heidi's in town! So I couldn't NOT see my adventurous pal visiting from NOLA! It was a dangerous adventure though - and my camera battery was dead. =P I met them at the mall, and we played with Bare Minerals and ended up getting some colors all over our eyes, ha ha ha...that, and shoes...shoes are quite dangerous...because I've been quite good about not buying TOO many shoes since I got married, but there are these one sandals...=) We ended the time with Peach-Pomegranate Tea and TJ Eggplant Hummus with Pita Chips at Sabine's. =) (*update - didn't get the shoes...I went back and decided I'd need half a size smaller, but they didn't have it. Ah well, saved me money...even if it was gift card money. ^_^)
When I came home, Shelton had a beautiful dinner of a special fried rice, soup, and grilled salmon ready for me...accompanied with a surprise dessert composed of caramelized Asian yali pears on top of homemade (from friend in Vegas) sponge cake. Wow! ^_^
All that interspersed with work things has made it a busy couple of days...and it doesn't stop yet - I have a Technology Showcase to attend with some of my students tonight in downtown Riverside - but it's been a lot of fun! =)
